THE 5 MEN IN THE RAIN

Five men went together on a country road. It starts to rain. Four of them hurry up. The fifth makes no effort to hurry. However, it remains dry while the other four get wet. The five arrive at destination. How could it be? 

Lateral thinking is solving problems through an indirect and creative approach, using reasoning that is not immediately obvious and involving ideas that may not be obtainable by using only traditional step-by-step logic.

LIFT

To begin with, here is one of the oldest and most well-known lateral thinking problems. It says: A man lives on the tenth floor of a building. Every day take the elevator to the ground floor to go to work or go shopping. When he returns, he always goes up in the elevator to the seventh floor and then up the stairs the remaining three floors to his apartment in the tenth. Why does he do this?
